I was born and bought up in Greymouth and in 1984, I left the coast for a life in the Marlborough Sounds. Once a coaster, always a coaster, I was determined that one day I would return and at the end of 2016, having been away for 32 years, my dream finally became a reality and I moved from Marlborough back to the coast to settle in Karamea. At the beginning of 2016, I was instrumental in founding The Karamea Events Trust and successfully set up the Pulse Energy Oparara Wilderness Trail Run for which I volunteer as race director and secretary for the trust.
I am a keen outdoors person and enjoy tramping, running, cycling and kayaking but most of all; I enjoy spending as much time as I can with my family.
Having previously worked as a medical administrator for over 20 years, 15 years in general practice and 9 years for the New Zealand Defence Force at RNZAF Base Woodbourne, I am now looking forward to putting my energy into embarking on a new career with Ray White Landmark and offering a fresh approach to real estate as their new salesperson in the Karamea area.
